Wonderful women, special rituals, food and friendship!

These past two weeks have been full of wonderful women, special rituals, food and friendship. We have been fortunate to have thea Gaia stay with us and fill our minds with questions and new ideas. thea took us on a Journey through Goddessing Then and Now, a day of exploration through the ancient times, the role of the church, reemergence of the Goddess and thoughts for the future. It was a challenging and inspirational journey. Thank you thea.

April 30th we held a ritual to Remember the Ancestors. This was also very special as both thea Gaia and Patricia Rose were with us; amazing to have women with such herstory and wisdom to share both in the ritual and discussion over dinner. There were ten of us for this Samhain ritual. Thinking about different ways of celebrating the ancient Goddess in this ancient land is both challenging and exciting.

thea has now returned to Canberra having left us with many ideas and promises for future work together.

We then had a visit from Patricia Rose who is also a visionary Goddess Woman from Queensland. Patricia has a wonderful story of her journey finding the Goddess and has created a set of cards of the Goddess in Australia.

This mutual interest led us to brainstorming ideas for a book about the Goddess in this Southern land and a commitment to each other that we will commence this work. We would love to hear from other women who are also interested in this endeavor so….If you are interested in working with us we would love to hear from you.
